Familie Windscheidt - Der Ganz Normale Wahnsinn plot

Jochen Windscheidt returns to daily life after treatment for burnout. His wife Susanne has prepared their children for this and they help out when she is busy at work. Everything goes well for a while, until Jochen's business partner disappears from the company coffers with a large sum of money and his architectural firm is on the brink of bankruptcy. Susanne's chances for a better position are diminishing and there is even a threat of dismissal. The adolescent children have their own view of things and then the grandparents also need help. The family threatens to fall apart under the pressure, but Jochen and Susanne reflect on what they are: a family.
