Faintheart plot
The story begins when Richard, a hardened martial innovator and lover of all things Vikings, forgets his father-in-law's funeral. Much to the dismay of his wife Cath, who immediately calls for a divorce, which hurts Richard more than a blow from a sword ever could. Rather than attempting to win her affection back, he wastes his time asking all his comrades-in-arms how he might win her back.
