Eltern plot

Christine and Konrad form a 'modern' family. He stays at home, takes care of the children and does the housework while she earns a living for the family as a starting head doctor. When Konrad receives an attractive offer to work as a theater director, he sees it as a second chance. But this presents the family with major challenges: the Argentine au pair girl turns out to be completely unsuitable, the rebellious daughter Kate (10) works diligently against her and Emma (5) is eagerly looking for a successor for her deceased hamster Specky. It is clear to everyone that something fundamental needs to change.
