Ein Irrer Duft von Frischem Heu plot
Mathes (Peter Reusse) is the chairman of the LPG (Agricultural Production Association). He is considered a "miracle healer" by the inhabitants of his village. This does not make it popular with everyone. Soon he is a burden to both the LPG party, which the attractive party secretary Angelika (Ursula Werner) sends to him, as well as the church. He is seen by both organizations as an eyesore.
