Egon und das Achte Weltwunder plot

Egon Brümmer is released from prison, where he served for assault. He was in a gang, but actually wants to start over and have nothing to do with his previous friends. However, they won't leave him alone. He starts working as a construction worker and gets to know Christine Lange, who is also called 'the eighth wonder of the world' because her friends would think it was a miracle if she ever fell in love. Egon tells her a nice life story and has to compromise to keep it going while his old mates also occasionally harass him.
