Dreizehn Kleine Esel und der Sonnenhof plot
After wandering for years, the world traveler Josef, also called Don Chaussee, returns to his wife Martha. The devout leader of a children's home is still angry with him and she fears that he will have a bad influence on the young girls, but the children and Sister Monika think it's something. And when thirteen old donkeys break out of a wagon, Joseph can show what he is capable of and hopes to win back his wife's heart.
