Drei Tage Mittelarrest plot

The mayor of a small garrison town is constantly at odds with the local battalion commander. The mayor's wife does not like the fact that her daughter wants to marry a soldier. Things escalate when the mayor's cook has been impregnated by an unknown soldier. The 'perpetrator' does not want to reveal himself, but there are four 'fathers' candidates to come to the altar with the cook.
