"A gay devil in dinner clothes winning his women with witty nonsense, entangling himself in gay, naughty situations."
At a large party, Roger Fallon talks to Herbert Drake. The former has become an ardent misogynist as a result of a failed marriage and a series of affairs. Herbert, who is happily married, makes a bet with Fallon that the next woman who enters the room will not allow Fallon to kiss her for 48 hours. Fallon takes the bet.
