Dolap Beygiri plot
Ali is a rural civil servant who has found work in Istanbul. Before he leaves for the big city, his father warns him to always be honest. When he arrives in Istanbul, however, he notices that the entire bureaucracy is based on corruption and fraud. Ali regularly gets into trouble because of his honesty and is even fired because, according to his boss, he wouldn't fit in the system. When he gets into trouble several times on top of this at the hands of his sister's cunning husband, Ali becomes utterly bitter.
