"Is talking good for love?"
Vanni and Linda live in a penthouse in the center of Rome. Vanni writes novels and Linda cooperates. Between a vernissage and an exhibition by Basquiat, they meet Alfredo and Costanza, a couple living on the brink of a nervous breakdown. Alfredo is an early riser and has a mistress. Costanza is a skin specialist and has similar habits. They want to vent their frustrations in the sitting area of their friends who, as it were, hold them hostage and openly complain about past and present. To contain their friends' emotions, they intervene, but become involved. However, not everyone gets through the night unscathed.
