Die Ideale Frau plot

The beautiful mayor of a German town, Fanny Becker, has secretly married the leader of the opposition, Axel, in Monte Carlo. A conflict about the fate of a castle bequeathed to the municipality causes the majority and opposition, including wife and other half, to rush against each other.
