Die Häupter Meiner Lieben plot
Maya and Cora have been friends since childhood. Maya's father is an alcoholic who abandoned his family, her mother is mentally disturbed and her brother Carlo is violent. Cora comes from a wealthy middle-class family. She helps to poison Maya's brother Carlo's friend named Detlef when the latter tries to blackmail Maya. They then kill Carlo when he tries to rape Cora. Cora's family takes Maya in lovingly and better times seem to begin, especially when they go on vacation to Italy.
