Die Große Chance plot
Walter, Freddy, Peter, Klaus and Tommy are students in Heidelberg, who spend their few free hours between study and part-time jobs making music in a jazz club. However, their 'negro music' encounters resistance from the local population, while the local girls are wildly enthusiastic. After the chaplain also expresses his displeasure, the boys try to take the wind out of their sails with a benefit concert.
