Diary of a Bad Lad plot

"It's documentary. It's the truth."

Film school teacher Barry Lick is suspended after being accused of 'major professional misconduct'. Now, however, he has the chance to make a sensational crime documentary about the charming psychopath Tommy Morgan, a local businessman involved in prostitution, pornography, drugs and human trafficking. However, Tommy is more cunning and ruthless than anyone from his film crew could expect and abuses them for his own good. Unfortunately, Barry is so fixated on his big movie that he doesn't realize how deep he gets dragged into the underworld and ends up putting all their lives on the line.
