Detours plot
"What we seek isn't always what we need."
When Jennifer visits her father to announce that she is moving in search of her dream job, she realizes that her father hasn't been out since his wife passed away. She realizes that she has lost real contact with her father and convinces him to join her in her search for a new place to live. Guided by Joe, an above-average intelligent navigation system, they travel through America together.
