Der Schönste Tag im Leben plot

After living under one roof in Munich for six years but in separate apartments, the thirty-somethings Waltraut (Martina Gedeck) and Ritschi (Heio Von Stetten) decide to get married. For the occasion, they return to the bride's native village, where the ceremony will be celebrated according to time-honoured Bavarian traditions. At least that's the intention, because the wedding doesn't quite go as expected.
