Der Lügner und die Nonne plot

One night under the jasmine bushes of the monastery, the novice Angela finds a baby who was apparently abandoned by his mother. She takes the child to her cell and takes care of it, whereupon the abbess emphasizes that the baby should not stay long in the monastery. But Angela no longer wants to divorce the boy and when the abbess calls in a doctor to determine whether the origin of the child does not lie with the nun herself, Angela makes a drastic decision.
