Der Herr im Haus plot
Wolfram Schellenberg is quite a difficult gentleman. He lives with his daughter Christa at 47 Amalienstrasse, where caretaker Sixtus Bader holds sway. Bader has taken Miss Schellenberg close to his heart. That is why it does not suit him when she goes to her room with the young Count Ferdinand. It does not suit him that Mr. Menarek is a tenant. The man calls himself a tutor, but Bader doesn't trust him in any way. When they are all invited to see Mr Kammersänger, Menarek shows what he can do.
