Das Geheimnis der Roten Katze plot

The theater season in Paris is over and André is out of work. He finds a new job in the establishment "Die Rote Katze", which is being converted into a gangster pub as an attraction. André has to play there as a robber chieftain and in that capacity arouses the interest of the wealthy Gloria, daughter of jeweler Jefferson. This wealthy American is in possession of the legendary Halifax brilliant, which the con man Pitou preys on. In order to rob the brilliant, Pitou forces André to help him.
