Daniël plot

Daniël has traveled the world for some time and discovers when he returns home to Amsterdam that his extremely boring parents have completely changed. He returns to the now hip house where his father has built up a thriving sexologist practice and is working on a book about sex variations. Daniel himself thinks this whole thing is nonsense and decides to go to a village where his grandfather was a strict pastor. But in the countryside, the frustration is just as strong. His parents come to take him back, which leads to a fight in which the farming family of the 'free sex Amsterdammers' come a lot closer together. Daniel chooses a different path.
