Danchi plot
Seiji and Hinako Yamashita are middle-aged and move into an apartment complex. Seiji once made and sold Chinese medicines, but they have sold their little shop. Hinako discovers an old client of theirs, Mr. Shinjo, on the third floor. He wants a medicine that only Seiji can make. Seiji is humiliated during an election and decides not to leave his apartment. This fuels the bad rumor that he was murdered by Hinako.
