"There's a little of him in all of us."

American Reporter Sue Charlton (Kozlowski) goes to Australia to interview the legendary Mick 'Crocodile' Dundee (Hogan), who seems to have survived an attack by a crocodile. She tells him about the city and persuades him to come with her to New York. Here Mick has great difficulty adapting to the big city, which leads to hilarious situations.

Great film, beautifully shot, good music and a nice story with the necessary jokes. But the most beautiful scene is the one where Linda Koslowski bends down by the water, when I saw that film I was in my twenties, but my breath caught and still when I see the film I look forward to that moment. Hogan's jokes work fine and he retains a bit of the mystique of the nature man. The biggest plus of the film is the music, I think. When I wanted to get it on record at the record store at the time, it had to be specially ordered and eventually imported from England because here in the Netherlands there was no interest in it, despite the fact that the film was indeed a hit.

Seen it a while ago but now that I saw it passing in the updates I thought I'd vote. I am very surprised at the low rating here. Crocodile Dundee is a delightful comedy. At least this is a movie that makes me laugh. Nice jokes because he doesn't recognize certain things, I also vividly remember that conversation with that black parking attendant where Crocodile asked which tribe he came from or something like that . I'll have to watch the second part soon because I don't know why I haven't already!

Crocodile Dundee is one of those movies that is fun to remember, but when you look back it hasn't survived the test of time. Pretty poor story and most of the jokes are pretty mature. It's a clichéd cultural look at the difference between a wild Australian and busy New York. To think this was nominated at the Academy Awards for Best Original Screenplay... Paul Hogan even won a Golden Globe. The jokes with his knife remain good and the final is well done.

The track record of Paul Hogan and Linda Kozlowski is also limited to the Crocodile Dundee franchise in terms of headlines. Nice to see Reginal VelJohnson in a bit part, best known as Sergeant Al Powell in Die Hard 1 and 2.
