Courting Courtney plot

"Being a single woman in the nineties is one thing. Being a single woman in her thirties...is another"

Courtney is turning 30. She's engaged, has a good job, nice friends. Then why isn't she perfectly happy? Her ex-boyfriend Nick sees her as an excellent study object for the documentary he wants to make. He captures her life on film: the class she teaches, her parents, her ex- and current boyfriend. Meanwhile, Nick learns a lot about himself and Courtney discovers that turning 30 is a big, but not a fatal event.
