Copacabana Mon Amour plot
"A hallucinatory miscellanea of all types of ecstasy!"
The story of some residents in the Copacabana neighborhood in Rio de Janeiro. Sônia Silk dreams of being a national radio singer, but in order to survive, she surrenders to tourists. Her brother Vidimar, the domestic servant of Dr. Grilo, falls in love with his boss and is also addicted to smelling his underwear. Sônia, meanwhile, sees ghosts descending into creatures and objects and decides to seek out the Afro-Brazilian priest ('pai-de-santo') Joãozinho da Gomeia to relieve her of this torment.
