Conquistador de la Luna plot

When the electrician Bartolo goes to the home of the scholar Don Abundio to repair an iron grate, he never imagined that a great adventure awaited him. Our friend gets trapped in a spaceship, along with Estelita, Abundio's daughter. Bartolo's blunder sends the spacecraft flying to the moon, where our Mexican "astronauts" find an underground military base filled with hideous creatures from Mars. These are under the command of Atabar and work on behalf of Gran Cerebro (great brain). They are preparing to launch a powerful nuclear super bomb at Earth. Now the only hope of the world's approaching end rests in the hands of a few makeshift space travelers.
