Coney Island Baby plot

Due to errors of judgment and a few wrong choices in life, charming Irish eccentric Billy Hayes ends up in an American prison. Once released, he rushes to his home port of Coney Island in Ireland. He makes New Year's resolutions, buys a ramshackle truck and pulls all sorts of antics to win back the favor of his shrewd ex-girlfriend Bridget. However, his environment and past do not make it easy for him. Still, he dreams of a carefree and loving future with Bridget.
