"Young ones! Parental units! We summon you!"
The story begins when the Coneheads want to take over Earth. But after the crash in a river in New Jersey, the mission is called off, leaving one ship behind. The Coneheads are an alien species with a long pointed head. Two Coneheads have crashed: Beldar (Dan Aykroyd) and Prymatt (Jane Curtin). They think they can get rid of Earth quickly with the help of other inhabitants of their planet Remulak, but they are punished only after a super long period. The friends they make on Earth don't think anything special about the Coneheads, they just think they're a bit strange. But they are tracked down by the Immigration Service. They have to flee and go into hiding under the name DeCicco. In the meantime, they have also raised a daughter: Connie. And then they unexpectedly receive a message from Remulak that they can go home. However, not everyone is very enthusiastic about that…

Terrible TV movie comedy this. Saw a good chunk of it again recently, and even worse than I remember. This kind of film can easily be forgotten by me. Can't really find anything that makes this movie worth watching.

A separate movie.
It is true that this is the biggest nonsense that comes out but I have sometimes had to involve a smile or even a laugh. Let me just say that you really shouldn't take this film seriously at all, very striking is the small supporting role of Adam Sandler who had a funny but very fast-paced role 
. Good enough for an evening where really only 1* films are on it, but actually technically it's not really great.

what a wonderful film with uncomplicated nonsense humor. ID is based on SNL, so you actually have to know that to be able to "understand" and appreciate it. if you already like dada you will also like it if you don't know SNL. recommended for a rainy Sunday afternoon.
