Colpo di Stato plot
We are in Italy in the year 1972, just during the general election and, as usual, a resounding victory of the Christian Democrats is expected. But the voting computers of the Ministry of the Interior tell something quite different, namely that the victory can be attributed to the Italian Communist Party, and this by a large margin. This immediately leads to panic: The United States immediately activates its missile system after the US ambassador to Italy speaks with President Johnson. The wealthy, including the singer Claudio Villa, flee aboard their yacht and top military advisers advise the Italian president to stage a military coup in order to retain power.
