Circonstances Atténuantes plot

The cruel Parisian judge Gaetan (known as Monsieur Maximum) longs to enjoy his retirement, but in the meantime he takes another day out at sea. Gabriel, the driver, has his head with his wife and not with the car. As a result, Gaetan and his wife Nathalie are stranded in the countryside, where they find refuge in a lower-class bistro run by a couple of merry convicts. When the ice is broken, they have a wonderful time, but when the judge tries to convert his new friends, the inevitable denouement draws near.
