Chroniques d'une Cour de Récré plot

Pierrefitte-sur-Seine in 1980. Ten-year-old Brahim lives with his family in a construction crane factory where his father, of Moroccan descent, is the keeper. Movies on TV, the factory yard, the school and his friends shape his world. A kingdom seemingly unchanging, just like the old crane that feeds his imagination in his dreams at night. It is a time full of novelties for the young Brahim. He befriends Salvador and becomes fascinated by photography: this becomes his new passion, thanks to an old Kodak Instamatic.
