Santa Claus (Sid James) sits in his usual place in the shopping center and tells how Christmas has been celebrated through the ages. Everyone experienced the party in their own way, starting with the people in prehistoric times, through Robin Hood in the Middle Ages, up to and including the soldiers in the First World War.
