Caroline Chérie plot
Chëteau de Bièvres, July 14, 1789. The garden party, which was intended to promote the eldest daughter of the lord of the manor, Louise, is disrupted by the outbreak of the French Revolution. Caroline, Louise's younger sister, has already fallen in love with the aristocrat Gaston de Salanches. She follows him to Paris, where the Revolution is wreaking havoc.
