Butterflies in the Rain plot
Tina Carteret, the daughter of a wealthy old English family, is drawn to feminist ideas about the freedom of the modern woman and mingles with a group of bohemian friends. When she encounters the stuffy owner of the neighboring estate, John Humphries, she first makes fun of him. But later she falls in love with him. They marry, but Tina continues to associate with her bohemian friends and lifestyle, which leads to her being blackmailed while on holiday in Spain.
