Broadminded plot

"When he opens his eyes he looks for girls! When he opens his mouth...you'll look for laughs...and get plenty!"

Jack is sent home by his father so that he can leave the gambling, the booze and the girls behind. Together with the equally unreliable Ossie, Jack sets off and it doesn't take long before they are back drinking after the girls. Along the way, they meet Poncho and they travel together to Pasadena, where Jack meets the girl of his dreams.
