"An alien invasion comedy where the aliens never show up."
In 1938 Orson Welles' radio broadcast 'War of the Worlds' causes millions of people to believe that America is under attack by Martians. In recent decades, the broadcast has almost acquired a sandwich status. The film gives a fictional look at the night of the broadcast and focuses on a small town in New Jersey that all residents believed would be the last night on Earth. What will you do when you know it's your last day? And what happens if it turns out the next day it was a hoax?
