Boxing Day plot

On the day after Christmas, Emmy Towne brings her boyfriend Darryl home to meet her family. After introducing a new friend who has been rejected twice, she fears Daryll will become the third victim. To make the relationship work, Daryll must survive with Emmy's omniscient mother Beverly, her stupid father Martin, her unruly sister Grace and her incredulous brother Rick. And then there's the little problem that Daryll is black.
