Botta e Risposta plot
A good-hearted and devout French house painter, takes a train to Rome, where he has decided to go on a pilgrimage. During the ride, he encounters a somewhat confused designer who was asked by a musical star to provide her with the robes she has to wear for the stage performance. But on the train, the two men are robbed by Cleo, a charming thief. Once in Rome, the painter is broke and the designer has lost his very expensive robes.
