Cliff Starkey (Paul Kaye) is the biggest sucking bastard you can come across. New tricks every day and trouble every day. His quiet hometown has nothing to inspire him, except the bowling club. Chic, stately, everything according to the rules, years of tradition and neat uniforms....not at all for the cheeky and violently reacting Cliff, except that he thinks the sport is fantastic, makes his own rules and is very successful too. Should the established order accept him or can they still get around him...?
