"Just beacause they love each other doesn't mean they have to like it."

Kat & Samantha have been best friends for years. When Samantha convinces the reluctant Kat to take advantage of a weekend getaway at a couples therapy resort by pretending to be a couple, they think they can relax by the pool and maybe hear some fun stories. How hard can it be? Instead, an intensive workshop awaits them with real couples fighting to save their relationship. As the weekend progresses, Sam & Kat become aware of their own shortcomings and even begin to believe in their own sham. When the line between friendship and love begins to blur, they have to ask themselves: Could it be possible that there is more between them than just friendship?

Prima film, waarmee ik me prima vermaakt heb. Een film die zich in een resort met relatietherapie kan makkelijk vervallen op koppels of begeleiders met rare, karikaturale, 'afwijkingen'. Natuurlijk zijn er meerdere koppels met problemen, maar karikaturaal wordt het nergens. Ook het verhaal van de dames lijkt geloofwaardig. Humor zorgt voor een glimlach. Camera- en acteerwerk is allemaal standaard.

Great movie, which I thoroughly enjoyed. A film set in a resort with relationship therapy can easily focus on couples or counselors with strange, caricatured 'deviations'. Of course there are several couples with problems, but it is never caricatured. The ladies' story also seems credible. Humor makes you smile. Camera and acting are all standard.

Soms ligt liefde meer voor de hand en is dichterbij dan een mens denkt. Dit alles in een resort voor relatietherapie waar issues voorbij komen die veel mensen zullen herkennen. Acteerwerk van Karsian, Grant en Thornton spant de kroon. Vermakelijk, niet te diep en makkelijk wegkijkend. Post it scene komisch, doch ook goede sessie.

Sometimes love is more obvious and closer than a person thinks. All this in a resort for relationship therapy where issues arise that many people will recognize. The acting by Karsian, Grant and Thornton takes the cake. Entertaining, not too deep and easy to look away. Post it scene comical, but also a good session.
