Wine seller Georg 'George' Weissborn is single and lives with his brother's family with his parents. Again and again his unusual way of life disturbs the peace in the family. After about eleven amorous adventures, the family is fed up, and they decide to choose a good match for him. They invite the country woman Irene, but George is not immediately enthusiastic.
