"Pretty is as pretty DEAD!"

Phyllis Loden is a chubby high school girl who is always bullied by the popular girls. The annual beauty pageant is coming up again and Muffy Fairlane is almost certain of the win. But because she doesn't want one of her friends - who are all participating - to be last, she gets Phyllis to sign up too. The plan works and Phyllis is once again made a fool of. Elizabeth McKay even blames Phyllis' cat for her allergic reaction and the fact that she didn't win. The girls make sure that the animal disappears and for Phyllis the measure is finally full...
