Author! Author! plot
"They share the laughter, the love, the frustration... and the bathroom."
Every author dreams of a play on Broadway, including playwright Ivan Travalian (Al Pacino). He has an exceptional home life. His second marriage to Gloria just broke up and she leaves him with 5 children, only one of whom is his. The others are from Gloria's previous marriages. Ivan gets upset when one of his plays suddenly threatens to become a success and he, along with a temporary girlfriend, also has to cope with the whims and whims of his temperamental children.
