A greengrocer who chartered a ship in Istanbul to transport tomatoes learns that the skipper is using the vegetable to disguise a weapons smuggling operation. A scuffle ensues and his life is saved by an ex-serviceman, who is on his way to Tibet to meditate. Together they decide to teach the smugglers mores.
