Successful foreign correspondent Anne Grainauer suddenly loses her job after 24 years. She finds comfort in one Gregor König, but her daughter Jess is not happy about that. König is in fact mayor of Dresden and in that capacity Jess' nemesis, who protests against the expansion of the airport that König wants to realize.
