Amoureux de Marianne plot

In a small provincial town, a seat is provided for a delegate. Industrialist Duboutois plans to run for office. He has a conversation with his accountant Berton who teaches him some truths. The industrialist is very annoyed by one of his employees who, out of jealousy and to take revenge, decides to also put in his candidacy. Duboutois fires his accountant Berton and the election campaign begins. But it will be very lively. Both main characters are unaware that their children often visit and love each other.
