Clockmaker Rudolf (Johannes Herschmann) asks his co-worker Karina (Katja Weitzenböck), a single mother, to lie to his brother Klaus (Heikko Deutschmann) that they are married in order to ensure the future of his small business. She even has to lie that she is pregnant. Karina agrees, but couldn't imagine that the couple would really fall in love.
