In an effort to fight organized crime in Italy, several mafia leaders are exiled abroad. So is Don (Mario Adorf), who is sent to a tiny mountain village in Austria. The population there should not know anything about him and his entourage, but that will cost them dearly. His years of experience as a swindler enable him to take over the administration of the village.
