A Very Young Lady plot
"The TOMBOY OF YESTERDAY becomes the delightful charmer of Today!"
Boyish Kitty Russell would rather ride a horse and dream about owning a motorcycle than, much to her teachers' dismay, pay attention to her classes at Spring Valley girls' school. The attractive headmaster Dr. Franklin Meredith takes advice from teacher Alice Carter, who urges him to invite Kitty to join one of the school's dances, which will also be attended by the neighboring Carver cadets. Kitty's father sends her a beautiful party dress, and on the day of the dance, Meredith praises Kitty's newfound femininity and gives her a bouquet of flowers.
