A Tus Espaldas plot

Jorge Chicaiza Cisneros (Jordi) is a young man who works at a bank in Quito and whose main purpose in life is to forget and cover up his humble origins, from the poor neighborhoods in the south of the city, just like his mestize origin. He wears designer clothes, likes to party and spends his entire modest salary on car tuning. With this he wishes to impress the middle class from the north of the city in order to be included in them. However, Jordi knows that he can never be a part of the higher social circles because of his mixed racial background. In this situation, he meets Greta, a Colombian girl who migrated to Ecuador for economic reasons and who has a secret relationship with the cousin of the owner of the bank where Jordi works. This cousin, Luis Alberto Granada de la Roca, is a vulgar marketing engineer who conducts a shady business, covered by the alibi from his work at his uncle's bank.
