Cassie Drake owns a pastry shop in a small village and makes the most delicious cupcakes. When Nolan Denver, a famous director, walks into her business, her life is turned upside down. Nolan is so impressed by her baking talent that he asks her to provide catering during the shooting of his next film. Cassie hesitates at first because the busy holiday season is approaching, but then agrees.
